2018 - 2019 Season
Welcome to the First Saturday PDX 2018 - 2019 season, another year of sharing China-related subjects! We have an exciting new collection of programs beginning September 8, 2018 running through June 1, 2019.
Presentations will include topics of Notable Women of Portland, a private tour of the Lan Su Chinese Garden, the topic of Happiness from 1950's to present day China, Penjing, Buddhist Pilgrims under the 14thC Mongols, Chinese Architecture in Southeast Asia, the significance and making of Mooncakes, and links between India and China through their gardens.
We are in the same building in Room # 230 upstairs on the second floor of PSU's Academic & Student Recreation Center (ASRC), 1800 SW 6th Avenue between Harrison and Montgomery. This location has an elevator and is wheelchair friendly, with unrestricted viewing and comfortable desks for note taking.
